    On the Balkan Peninsula's climate is moderately warm. Winters are cold, summers are warm and precipitation are present all year round. Average temperature in July is 20°C and in January is from -3°C to 0°C.

    Dinarides, which extend along the coast of the Adriatic Sea, inpede penetration of the Mediterranean climate impacts on narrow coastal area.
