Temperatures in the Netherlands 1066

It was a very cold time and the winters were very  cold  in that time. It was a hard time for the people. Lots of people died. Even in the few cities. There was  hardly no food. In the summer it was a very wet climate, because of that there were many floods. The monks builded dikes against the floods.
