Industrijska strojarska škola prva je srednja škola ekoLucionar

Na Dan planeta Zemlje, 22. travnja, na YouTube kanalu portala srednja.hr, održana je video konferenciju posvećenu održivosti, ali i prilikama koje održivi razvoj otvara mladima. Portal srednja.hr ugostio je vodeće stručnjake koji su nas inspirirali, ali i naučili više o toj važnoj temi. Dodijeljena su i priznanja za najbolje ekoprojekte škola iz Hrvatske, a među njima bio je i ekoprojekt naše Škole „Suradničkim aktivnostima do ekoprivjesaka“. Prva smo srednja škola ekoLucionar i beskrajno smo ponosni. Sudjelovanje u eTwinning projektu „The green changemakers“ potaknulo nas je na suradničke aktivnosti koje su dovele do izrade ekoprivjesaka s kojima činimo mali, ali važan zeleni pomak.

Klimatske promjene i održivost važna su tema, ali i ona o kojoj često slušamo loše vijesti i još gora predviđanja za budućnosti. Onima kojima je do stalo do ekologije, a posebno mladima, takve vijesti često izazovu osjećaje tjeskobe i nemoći. Stoga, kako bi se započeo dijalog o toj temi i kako bi se pokazalo razloga za optimizam imamo napretek, portal srednja.hr pokrenuo je projekt ekoLucija 101: Uvod u ekološku revoluciju. Partneri projekta su Ekonomski fakultet Sveučilišta u Zagrebu te Ured Europskog parlamenta u Hrvatskoj. Na sam Dan planeta Zemlje, 22. travnja, portal srednja.hr održao je  istoimenu video konferenciju u kojoj su ugostili partnere i prijatelje projekta, zanimljive stručnjake koji su govorili o dobrim primjerima iz prakse i budućnosti koja nas čeka ako klimatske izazove ne shvatimo ozbiljno. Učenici i nastavnici Industrijske strojarske škole klimatske izazove shvatili su ozbiljno što najbolje pokazuje dobiveno priznanje. The Industrial Engineering School is the first high school ekoLucionar

On Earth Day, April 22, on the YouTube channel of the srednja.hr portal, a video conference was held dedicated to sustainability, but also to the opportunities that sustainable development opens to young people. The srednja.hr portal hosted leading experts who inspired us, but also learned more about this important topic. Recognitions were also given for the best eco-projects of schools from Croatia, and among them was the eco-project of our School "Collaborative activities for eco-pendants". We are the first high school ekoLucionar and we are infinitely proud. Participation in the eTwinning project "The green changemakers" encouraged us to collaborate on activities that have led to the creation of eco-pendants with which we make a small but important green shift.

Climate change and sustainability are important topics, but also one we often hear about bad news and even worse predictions for the future. For those who care about ecology, and especially young people, such news often causes feelings of anxiety and helplessness. Therefore, in order to start a dialogue on this topic and to show reasons for optimism, we have made progress, the portal srednja.hr launched the project ecoLucija 101: Introduction to the ecological revolution. The project partners are the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb and the Office of the European Parliament in Croatia. On Earth Day, April 22, the portal srednja.hr held a video conference of the same name, which hosted partners and friends of the project, interesting experts who spoke about good examples from practice and the future that awaits us if we do not take climate challenges seriously. Students and teachers of the Industrial Mechanical School took climate challenges seriously, which is best shown by the recognition they received.
