Day 6 - 7th March 2020.
It is the last day of our gathering and there are many impressions. From getting to know each other through sharing experiences about our teaching work these days, participating in joint activities, collaborating and working in pairs and groups, we are aware that we have acquired the knowledge and skills that we will be able to impart to our classmates and apply in working with students.
This was a great opportunity for learning and personal and professional development, and with wonderful colleagues we shared the experiences of different educational systems and cultures.
We spent time together outside off the school and toured several famous locations in Barcelona. The most beautiful was the Gracia district, which is part Barcelona since 1897, until then it was an independent settlement. Gaudi's oldest house is located right in the neighborhood, and we took the opportunity to take photos together.
At the end of our work week, we turned to each other very emotionally and thanked our presenter Mila Petkov, who has guided us all these days through various concepts of positive psychology. We congratulated and gave certificates each other. We described the person we gave a certificate with a few nice sentences. And that was a way of applying what we have been learning and becoming aware of as people and, more importantly, as teachers!
