Happy Schools: Positive Education for Well-Being and Life Skills Development in Barcelona from 2th March to 7th March 2020.

    Zovem se Tatjana Pešić Ilijaš i već 33 godine radim kao učiteljica razredne nastave u Osnovnoj školi Pantovčak.

    Sudjelovala sam na tečaju Sretne škole: Pozitivno obrazovanje za dobrobit i razvoj životnih vještina u Barceloni od 2. do 7. ožujka, 2020. godine.

    Tečaj sam odabrala kao odgovor na pitanje koje postavljam svakoga dana svog učiteljskog rada, a to je promišljanje o postupcima i metodama kojima najbolje motiviramo učenike za rad. Pozitivna psihologija upravo analizira te postupke i metode, naglašava važnost kvalitetne komunikacije s učenicima i razumijevanje njihovih osjećaja čime se postiže dobar odnos učenika s učiteljem. Stvori li se takav odnos u razrednom okruženju, ostvaruje se i cilj, a to je potpuna zaokupljenost zadacima i aktivnostima usmjerena na sam stvaralački proces, a ne samo rezultat. Učenici na taj način postižu visoku razinu koncentracije i razvijaju unutarnju motivaciju, stvara se osjećaj sreće i tada govorimo o njihovoj dobrobiti. 

    Na tečaju smo upoznali niz teorijskih modela i praktičnih primjera kojima se postiže takav odnos s učenicima i kreira takav pristup u radu. Spoznaje s tečaja bit će mi vrlo korisne u radu s učenicima, a bila je to i prilika o promišljanju o sebi, kao učiteljici.

         

     

    My name is Tatjana Pešić Ilijaš and I have been working as a primary school teacher at the Pantovčak Primary School for 33 years.

    I participated in the 'Happy Schools: Positive Education for Well-Being and Life-Skills Development' course in Barcelona from the 2nd till the 7th of March 2020.

    I chose this course as an answer to the question I ask myself every day during my career as a teacher – what procedures and methods are best to motivate the students to work. Positive psychology analyzes these procedures and methods, emphasizes the importance of quality communication with students and understanding of their feelings, and leads to a good relationship between them and their teacher. By creating such a relationship in a classroom environment, students are preoccupied with tasks and activities focused on the creative process itself and not just the result. This enables them to reach a high level of concentration, and develop inner motivation and a feeling of happiness, ultimately contributing to their well-being.

    During the course, we learned about a number of theoretical models and practical examples by which one can build such a relationship with students and create such an approach to work. Lessons from the course gave me an opportunity to think about myself as a teacher and will be very useful in my future work.
