Week two was full of different activities. The first and second week had the same schedule, except wednesday wasn't free on the 2nd week. It was a lot of activities, CLIL and STEM, but so much fun.
Drugi tjedan bio je pun različitih aktivnosti. Prvi i drugi tjedan imali su isti raspored, osim što srijeda nije bila slobodna u 2. tjednu. Bilo je puno aktivnosti, CLIL i STEM, ali jako zabavno.
The most amazing thing about week two was the amazing class I attended. the students get it for the last 2 years of their schooling here and it runs two hours per week (70h per a year). It is absolutely fabuolous. Its called project work. The students first learn about the scientific method, then about the project based learning and inquiry based learning.
The students then find a theme or a real world problem and try to measure and solve it. The students come up with the most amazing ideas:
Microplastic in the soil around our city
How does the different shampoo affect the colored hair
The work the students are doing is amazing, they investigate, they do the experiments in groups, they make a report and they make a poster. Before the end of the year they apply their work to the regional competition.
Apsolutely amazing. They learn soo much, they develop scientific and critical thinking, math skills, ICT and presentational skills.
Najnevjerojatnija stvar u drugom tjednu bio je nevjerojatan sat koji sam pohađao. učenici ga dobivaju zadnje 2 godine školovanja ovdje i traje dva sata tjedno (70h godišnje). To je apsolutno nevjerojatno. To se zove projektni rad. Učenici prvo uče o znanstvenoj metodi, zatim o učenju temeljenom na projektu i učenju temeljenom na upitu.
Učenici tada pronalaze temu ili problem iz stvarnog svijeta te ga pokušavaju izmjeriti i riješiti. Učenici dolaze do najnevjerojatnijih ideja:

Kako različiti šamponi utječu na obojenu kosu
Posao koji učenici rade je nevjerojatan, istražuju, rade eksperimente u grupama, izrađuju izvještaj i izrađuju poster. Prije kraja godine svoje radove prijavljuju na regionalno natjecanje.
Apsolutno nevjerojatno. Jako puno uče, razvijaju znanstveno i kritičko mišljenje, matematičke vještine, ICT i prezentacijske vještine.
The second amazing class I attended last week was a pratical class for 16 to 18 y.o. students about automation. Since my husband is an automation engenieer even he was amazed cause students learn completetly by doing. They build solar farms or automatic garage doors or fire and smoke detection CNUS. Just amazing, so when they apply to the workforce they will already have some amazing experience in the field.
Drugi nevjerojatan sat koji sam pohađao prošli tjedan bio je praktični sat za uzrast od 16 do 18 godina. studenti o automatizaciji. Budući da je moj suprug inženjer automatizacije, čak je i on bio zadivljen jer učenici u potpunosti uče radeći.
