The third mobility took place in Mielżyn in Poland. We learnt a lot about the medieval history and culture of the region Greater Poland. Before the visit in Poland, we had to prepare some presentations or videos about our schools, towns/cities, regions and countries. The official welcome took place in the Krzysztof Szkudlarek Centre in Witkowo. Our Polish partners perform their traditional dances there. The whole welcome was moderated in three languages (Polish, English and German) by three Polish girls. Each national group introduced its own country to the visitors of this welcome. The second part of the welcome took place at our partner school in Mielżyn. There were two main activities at school: dancing four traditional Polish dances (Gołąbek, Marynia, Wiwat and Przodek Szamotulski) and painting just by hands and feet. We were dancing in mixed international pairs and we were painting in international groups. There were large notice boards with lots of pictures in the gym and each group had to choose two photos of our partner countries and paint them (by hands and feet) on very large pieces of paper. After finishing our pictures, we had to write a story to our pictures. The pictures were then cut into small pieces (A4) and we got them as nice presents. We learnt the four Polish dances and we performed them on the last day of our meeting. We visited many places which are connected with Polish history: Toruń where Nicolaus Copernicus was born and where is the very nice Museums of Legends, Poznań where we learnt how to prepare the famous croissants of Saint Martin and where we saw the Poznań goats, the Lednicki Island which is connected with the earliest Polish history and the medieval castle of Grzybowo which was the best excursion. At all these places, we learnt about the Polish history and culture by a funny way which is called “living history”. We really enjoyed it.

Die dritte Mobilität fand in Polen statt. Wir lernten über der mittelalterlichen Geschichte und über der Kultur Großpolens. Vor unserem Besuch in Polen sollten wir die Präsentationen oder Videos über unseren Schulen, Städten, Regionen und Ländern vorbereiten. Das feierliche Willkommen fand im Krzysztof Szkudlarek Zentrum in Witkowo. Unsere polnischen Partner zeigten uns ihre traditionelle Tanzen. Das ganze Willkommen wurde bei drei polnischen Mädchen in drei Sprachen (Polnisch, Englisch und Deutsch) durchgeführt. Jede Nationalgruppe stellte ihr Land den Besuchern von diesem Willkommen vor. Der nächste Teil des Willkommens fand in unserer Partnerschule in Mielżyn statt. In der Schule nahmen wir an zwei Aktivitäten teil: Tanzen der polnischen Volkstanzen (Gołąbek, Marynia, Wiwat and Przodek Szamotulski) und Malen nur mit den Händen und Füßen. Wir lernten die Tanzen in gemischten internationalen Paaren und malten in unseren internationalen Gruppen. An den großen Wandzeitungen in der Turnhalle waren viele Fotos aus unseren Ländern. Jede Gruppe sollte zwei Fotos wählen und diese Bilder auf große Papiere (nur mit eigenen Händen und Füßen) malen. Nach der Beendigung der Bilder sollten wir zu ihnen eine kurze Geschichte schreiben. Die Bilder wurden dann in kleine Papiere (A4) geschnitten, und wir bekamen sie als schöne Geschenke. Wir lernten vier polnische Tanzen und wir führten sie am letzten Tag unseres Treffens auf. Wir besuchten verschiedene Orte, die mit der polnischen Geschichte verbunden sind: Toruń (wo Nikolaus Kopernikus geboren wurde, und wo sich das schöne Museum der Sagen befindet), Poznań (wie lernten dort die Croissants des Hl. Martin zu backen, und sahen dort auch die bekannten Ziegen aus Posen), die Insel Lednicki (sie ist mit der Frühgeschichte Polens verbunden) und die mittelalterliche Burg Grzybowo (das war die beste Exkursion). An allen diesen Plätzen lernten wir viel über der polnischen Geschichte und Kultur dank sogenannten „lebenden Historie“. Es machte uns wirklich Spaß.
