The 4th mobility should take place in Antakya, but it was organized in the Czech Republic due to the difficult international situation. Our Turkish partners prepared everything for this meeting; they had to bring many things from Turkey to the Czech Republic which was really very self-sacrificing of them. During the official welcome, Didem and Kerem introduced their school, city and country and they informed us about the programme of this meeting. We saw the performance of a Turkish dance and we listened to Turkish songs. To learn about the Turkish traditions was very interesting and a bit “exotic” for the other participants. We tried some traditional handcrafts like marbling (Ebru) and creating mosaics. We learnt a traditional Turkish dance. We cooked and baked six traditional Turkish meals and we had a common Turkish lunch at a Czech school… Yeah, we were in Turkey, the nice and hot country, inside the school and there was some snow outside the school… Our Turkish partners prepared a surprise for our last common evening – the Henna Night. We really learnt a lot about Turkey and we enjoyed the Turkish Days very much.
Die 4. Mobilität sollte in Antakya stattfinden, wegen der internationalen Situation wurde sie aber in der Tschechischen Republik organisiert. Unsere türkischen Freunde bereiteten für dieses Treffen alles vor, sie mussten viele Sachen aus der Türkei in die Tschechische Republik bringen – das war wirklich sehr opferbereit von ihnen. Während des Feierlichen Willkommens stellten Didem und Kerem ihre Schule, ihre Stadt und ihr Land vor. Sie informierten uns auch über dem Programm des Treffens informiert. Wir sahen auch eine Aufführung des türkischen Tanzes und ein türkisches Lied gehört. Lernen über der türkischen Tradition war sehr interessant und ein bisschen exotisch für die anderen Schüler. Wir probierten einige traditionelle Werke – z. B. wir bildeten die Mosaiken oder probierten die Marmorierung. Wir lernten einen türkischen traditionellen Tanz. Wir kochten und backten sechs verschiedene türkische Speisen und aßen dieses Mittagessen in einer tschechischen Schule zusammen… Ja, wir waren in der Türkei, einem schönen und heißen Land, innen der Schule, und außen der Schule lag der Schnee… Unsere türkischen Partner bereiteten für den letzten Abend eine Überraschung für uns vor – die Henna Nacht. Wir lernten wirklich sehr viel über der Türkei und es machte uns Spaß.

That trip has been the most beautiful experience of our entire lives. We had so much fun and we did a lot of interesting activities, for example we danced some typical Turkish dances or we prepared and ate Turkish meals and they were delicious! It was great because we met many awesome people that we won't forget! The little city was really particular, full of colours and nice houses with gardens. There was a castel too and it looked fantastic but we couldn't visit it because we didn't have enough time. By the way we spent an amzing week doing many things, playing sports, learning new cultures, languages and improving our English. Unfortunately the last evening together came too fast and we all cried because we didn't want to leave our new friends but we promised each other that we will meet again in the future. Everyone was in tears and that situation was sad but also cute, it showed that we were fine with other guys from different countries and it was totally positive because we have opened our minds.We're really glad to have met those poeple.
