On 20th April 2016 we have visited the Minerva Gardens situated in the old town.

During the middle age all he medical plants were cultivated in this place. Today it's still possible to find lots of them.

 

THe gardens are located in a wonderful place with a beatiful view of the Gulf of Salerno.

In the gardens there are also lots of trees in particular lemons,

and plants, the most commons  are the Aloa vera  (which is used as a regenerating, a disfectant and as antibiotic), the Miriofillo,

the Arum italicum, the Cassia, the Valeriana etc.
