On 27th January on the occasion of the Holocaust memorial day we have guested in our school a special person.

His name is Antonio Iacuzzo he is a survivor of the Dacau concentration camp.

Antonio is a sculptor, he has created lots of beautiful wooden sculptures.

This in the photo is one of his works.

It has been really touching to hear the story of his terrible days in the camp.

We have asked him lots of questions at the end he has told us to feel  really lucky to be still alive.

We have greeted Antonio with the wonderful song "La vita è bella",sung by our schoolmates of primary school.
