Pupils from the 8th and 9th grades visited the former concentration camp in Flossenbürg on the 11^th May 2017. They learn more about the 2^nd world war and the life in a concentrations camp. This concentration camp is connected to our region very close. It is situated near the Czech-German border and it was the finish of the death march from KZ Buchenwald in 1945. The train with prisoners from Buchenwald arrived to Tachov on the 13^th April 1945. The dead people were burned in Tachov, prisoners who alive had to go on foot to the KZ Flossenbürg. They went through our region, most of them died during this demanding march.

Die Schüler der 8. und der 9. Klassen haben am 11. Mai 2017 das ehemalige Konzentrationslager Flossenbürg besucht. Sie haben mehr über dem 2. Weltkrieg und über dem Leben in einem Konzentrationslager gelernt. Dieses Konzentrationslager ist mit unserer Region verbunden. Es befindet sich Nahe der deutsch-böhmischen Grenze und es war das Ziel des Todesmarsches aus dem KZ Buchenwald im Jahre 1945. Der Zug mit den Häftlingen aus Buchenwald ist am 13. April 1945 nach Tachov gekommen. Die toten Leute wurden in Tachov verbrannt, die anderen Häftlinge mussten aus Tachov nach Flossenbürg zu Fuß gehen. Sie sind durch unsere Region gegangen und viele von ihnen sind während dieses Todesmarsches gestorben.

Žáci 8. a 9. tříd navštívili 11. května 2017 bývalý koncentrační tábor Flossenbürg. Dozvěděli se zde mnoho o 2. světové válce a o životě vězňů v koncentračním táboře. Tento koncentrační tábor byl spjat i s naším krajem. Nachází se nedaleko česko-německé hranice a byl mj. cílem pochodu smrti z koncentračního tábora Buchenwald v roce 1945. Vlak s vězni z Buchenwaldu dorazil 13. dubna 1945 do Tachova. Mrtví byli spáleni v Tachově na novém židovském hřbitově, ostatní vězni se museli vydat na pěší pochod z Tachova do Flossenbürgu. Prošli naším okresem a mnozí z nich zde během tohoto pochodu smrti zemřeli.
