We were in Malbork on 28th October 2016. It was built in the 13th century. It’s a brick castle. It’s a gothic fortified castle founded on the east bank of the river Nogat.
Am 28 Oktober 2016 waren wir in Malbork. Die Burg in Malbork wurde im XIII Jahrhundert gebaut. Das ist eine gotische, wehrhafte Burg aus Ziegel, die auf der Ostufer des Sees Nogat aufgebaut wurde.
Dnia 28 października 2016 roku byliśmy w Malborku. Zamek w Malborku został zbudowany w XIII wieku. Jest to gotycki zamek obronny z cegły, założony na wschodnim brzegu rzeki Nogat.
It became the seat of the Teutonic Order (full name: The Order of Brothers of the German House of Saint Mary in Jerusalem) in 1309.
Die Burg ist zum Sitz der Kreuzritterorden im 1309 geworden.
Zamek stał się siedzibą zakonu krzyżackiego (pełna nazwa:: Zakon Szpitala Najświętszej Maryi Panny Domu Niemieckiego w Jerozolimie) w 1309 roku.
Malbork Castle was visited by European chivalries.
Die Burg in Malbork wurde von den Rittern aus der ganzen Europa besucht.
Zamek w Malborku był odwiedzany przez rycerzy z całej Europy.
The castle complex consists of three castles:
- high castle - the monastery,
- medium castle - the seat of Grandmaster and Knight Commander, administrative and political centre of the state of the Teutonic Order,
- vaults - utility rooms.
Der gewaltige Burgkomplex besteht aus drei Teilen: Hoch-, Mittel- und Vorburg.
Kompleks zamkowy składa się z trzech zamków:
- wysoki zamek - klasztor,
- zamek średniowieczny - siedziba Wielkiego Mistrza i Dowódcy Rycerzy, centrum administracyjne i polityczne państwa zakonu krzyżackiego,
- skarbce - pomieszczenia gospodarcze.
The castle raised by the Teutonic Order became a part of Poland in the 15th century. After the first partition of Poland Malbork became Prussian again. In 1945 Poles became the hosts of the castle. The castle, destroyed during the World War II, has been reconstructed. The restoration works last until now.
Die Burg wurde durch die Kreuzritter gebaut und ist im XV Jahrhundert ein Teil von Polen geworden. Kam aber 1772 wieder ans Deutsche Reich zurück. Im Jahre 1945 Polen haben wieder die Burg übernommen. Nach dem II Weltkrieg wurde die Burg rekonstruiert. Die Arbeiten dauern bis heute.
Zamek wzniesiony przez Zakon Krzyżacki stał się częścią Polski w XV wieku. Po pierwszym rozbiorze Polski Malbork ponownie powrócił do Prus. W 1945 r. Polacy zostali gospodarzami zamku. Zrekonstruowano zamek, zniszczony podczas II Wojny Światowej. Prace remontowe trwają do tej pory.
The museum’s collection:
- a great collection of amber,
- a great collection of militaria,
- gothic sculptures.
In 1949 it was entered in the register of historical monuments and in 1994 it got the status of a Monument of National History.
Im Jahre 1949 wurde die Burg auf der Liste der Sehenswürdigkeiten zugeschrieben und ist zum Denkmal der Nationalen Geschichte geworden.
W 1949 r. wpisano zamek do rejestru zabytków, a w 1994 r. uzyskał on status Pomnika Historii Narodowej.
In 1997 it was entered in the UNESCO list of World Cultural and Natural Heritage.
Im Jahre 1997 wurde der Liste der Kulturerbe und Naturerbe der Welt UNESCO zugegeben.
W 1997 roku wpisano go na listę Światowego Dziedzictwa Kulturowego i Naturalnego UNESCO.
It has been the seat of the Castle Museum in Malbork since 1961.
Seit 1961 befindet sich hier der Sitz des Burgmuseum in Malbork.
Od 1961 r. jest siedzibą Muzeum Zamkowego w Malborku.
