This date was celebrated with the cooperation of our Library Teacher during the week 28th january till 8th February. Our 9th graders studied in History class the topic and in the Arts class students prepared posters “Symbols of the Holocaust” for a exhibition in the school Library. The Library teacher read a book “The story of Erika”, based on a true life experience of the Holocaust. After students played a game on Socrative related to the story they listened to. They also had the opportunity to read some parts of books that exist in our Library related to the II World War atrocities.
Students loved the activity and had the opportunity to hear and know more about why this day is celebrated worldwide.
