CYPRUS

In our school we marked the Day of the Earth with two actions:

1. The children 1st and 2nd Grade (A’2 and B’1) wrote two theatrical plays and presented them throughout the school. The first playwright presented the tree's and animals of the forest complaint to the people. They complain because men burns them, cuts them and destroys them without any thought. The second playwright referred to the condemnation of an arsonist at the court of trees. For both plays the children wrote the script, chose the suits and music and made the distribution of the roles.

2. The children of the third grade (C’1) chose to take part in the Pancyprian cleaning campaign with the title “Let’s do it Cyprus”. The children, their parents and their teacher have chosen to clean a big area of land. This action taught children respect for the nature.
