My name is Carmen and I´m a teacher in Cifuentes. A few months ago I decided to travel to London to improve my English.
I´ve started studying English at least six or seven times. I´ve been to class, I´ve used several self-study courses, so it´s so frustrating if you don´t practise with foreign people that I thought that it was a fantastic opportunity to take part in Erasmus+.
I think that I can transmit this idea to my students.
I spent the first part of my holidays in London so I took adventage of thesituation to live London just as an english woman.
On the morning, my classes in Bloomsbury School, I met koreans, arab, italians, french, portuguese, argentines and german students.
For lunch, I often ate a sandwich at the Russell Park with them and then
I went to as many places as I could.
I was living near of The British Museum so I visited twice. Of course, I visited The National Gallery and The Science Museum too. It´s fantastic that it´s free.
It was very tired, but the most part of my time I was walking from Bloomsbury to Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden or Oxford Street.
It has also been an excellent opportunitty to know about the history of the city, from the first Roman invasion, attacks from barbarian pirates to the Saxons. Westminster Abbey, Tower of London or St. Paul`s Cathredal are the most famous medieval buildings I visited.
You can´t be tired of London.
