In this Journal I will add some information about our training and the personal experience that we have enjoyed in the wonderful Dublin.
First of all, I would like to add a summary of the interesting links that teachers can use in order to implement ICT resources in their routines in the class:
Now, is time to talk about the experience day by day. Our experience started July 9ht. We departed from Murcia and arrived to Dublin at 00.30….We went to the hotel and had a rest...next day our adventure was going to start.
DAY 1- JULY 10TH
The first day, we walked to Trinity College and meet all our partners from differente countries. The academy is offering different courses so we were sent to our locations. Classes were over around 15.00 in the afternoon. It was time to look for our place to stay in Dublin, a really cute apartment and get some groceries in order to be ready for the experience.
The end of the first day was a great experience to meet other cultures through a food worshop with different types of food, drinks, sweets...from different countries. It was yummy and colorful! Spanish table was “a pig made into small pieces” LOL.
In order to have a good end, a good pint of beer help us to socialize with other cultures but….Spaniards are normally the late birds and stay longer. We will try to increase our relation with other cultures during the following days.

DAY 2- JULY 11TH
After a good rest, we walked to Trinity college again. Both of us we separate in order to attend different courses.
MARI- In my course we are learning about different tools in the information and communication side. It is very interesting but I think it is necessary to apply this to our daily classroom routines. I am creating a bank of resources that I would like to share with the teachers in my school in order to be able to train them in the ICT dimension.
Our schedule is morning 9 to 12.30 with an small break in between and 13.30 till 15.00. We have divided the big group in two mini groups: secondary and primary teachers.
I am very happy with my working team that is made of another two girls: one from Italy and the other from Croatia.
In the afternoon I decided to go for a run through the river until the big Fenix Park, it was very nice. After, we went out and see Temple Bar, it is awesome to listen to live music while you enjoy a good pint.
We found two Spaniards in Temple bar and not desirable for the language input but….we laughed a lot talking about different situations in our classes in order to check how we work.

DAY 3- JULY 12TH
Today it is wednesday. A new day in our experience. A lot of new tools to be used. I have started to work with my group in the final “artefact” we need to create together for the final presentation. We are also improving in the usage of Google Drive.
Some of the resources I suggest to try are:
After school we went for a walk around Trinity college. I saw Molly Malone for the first time. Very nice!
After that, we visited some park such as Merrion Park, where Oscar Wilde statue is and Saint Stephen´s Green.
We were very hungry so we went for dinner...after been not clear about what we would like to eat, we decided to try a burger place and….It was amazing!
Tired but…..we tried another typical pub and listen to some natives while enjoyed a good pint of beer.
DAY 4- JULY 13TH
A new day for learning. Today we are focusing in creating videos with apps such as animoto. I created a video and shared it in our Etwinning space. My mediterranean group (Croatian and Italian girls) with me, we are creating a symbaloo with all ours learning experiences.
After class I walked back home and run a little bit until the seaside. Dinner time was with the daughter of our colleague Ines. We went to a typical place and then walked around Dublin and meet our Spanish friends.
DAY 5- JULY 14TH
Today is the last day of a long week. Main focus is based on reviewing the contents of the week and applying them to our final project with our team. Before lunch we made small group presentations. In the afternoon and after lunch we went for a walk through the quarters, a wealthy zone around Dublin with lots of offices and nice apartments. Once we finished, we attent to a meeting in the main building about our fieldtrip to Glendalough.
After school we went to Howth and were walking together and drink a pint and then dinner together. It was a very nice moment.
DAY 6- JULY 15TH
We woke up very early and walked to the meeting point. We arrived Glendalough at 9 and went for a nice walk with the group. I enjoyed how quiet it was as later it was crowded and did not like it so much.
Both upper and lower lake were very nice and then I went myself for a walk towards the mine village. I really enjoyed this part of the trip as I loved to stay with myself and breath while I was listening to music.
After this time here, we drove towards kilkenny: very nice village. Here we visited different cathedrals and finally the black abbey where a madame was super nice explaining us some curiosities.
I was pretty tired so I slept during the way back and before heading home I went to a bar with German, Finish, Spanish people and drink a pint and have dinner.
What a freat day!

It is a good way to create tools for classes, share it and also evaluate.
In the evening we went to the airport and pick up friends that are visiting.
DAY 9- JULY 18TH
Tuesday class focuses in video and audio use. We were working with some applications and tools such as
We also develop some mindfulness strategies that I think are super interesting as professionals but more important as human beings.
In the afternoon I went for a walk through the castle and Dublinia part. We also went to some live music places.
DAY 10- JULY 19TH
I did not attend today to class. I woke up with a big stomache so I could not go.
In the afternoon I was feeling better so I went to Malahide and a music show: “once”.
DAY 11- JULY 20TH
It is the day before ending our course...Time has gone so fast.... today we need to clean up and ge ready for the return. We ate together and finish presentations with our colleagues.
DAY 12- JULY 21TH
