I´m going to relate my experience in my visit to Slovenia in February, 2018.

1st day:

A long trip to arrive Maribor:a car, two planes, a taxi....and finally our apartment. It was a tired and "spected" day. 1st metting with Slovenian partners.

2nd, day:

1 st day at school in Lorevs na Pohorju. a snowy day. All around us was white. A lot of snow and a lot of new things.The school was great and the partners were very kind.

3rd day:

Another snowy day in the mountains. Carnaval is around the world and there it was carnival time too.. A funny cultural day at school. 

4th day:

A short cultural visit to Luibiana, the capital. The day was sunny and the walk with the Slovenian partners was marvellous. They showed us the castle of the city and some other buildings. We  returned to Maribor and the traffic was awfull....

5th day:

We prepared some typical Spanish food with children at school.They love the activities. We made food for teachers too.It was the first day I was hot in Slovenia...It was because I was cooking....not for the weather.....In the afternoon we visited a small village called Pituj, the oldest city in the country.

6th day.

Last day of the first week at school.We could see different calssrooms, levels and subjects....We visited a honey cooperative. The responsable explained us a lot of things about bees and honey in the village. We could taste a local licor and sweets made with local honey.

7th day:

A tourist visit. We knew other part of the country: Bled and its lake. The church in the middle of the lake....fantastic.

8th day:

Another interesting tourist visit: Cave and castle. We drove with snow until we arrived to the Postojnska cave: a very big cave into the Alpes.....kilometres of railway and stalactites and stalagmites. It was amazing.....It was a mixture between curiosity and fear. To finish our travel we visited the Predjama castle. It was awesome. It was as beatiful as cold.......

9th day:

at school all was ok. When we finished our classes we took the car and went up into the mountains to practice "slice". I was very afraid and I went up to the hill with the tractor and I came back in the tractor too....My partners were very brave, specialy Slovenian partners. They said it was funny but I preferred to take photos. then, in the evening, we had dinner with the mayor. It was a fantastic dinner.

10th day:

It was another interesting day at school.When we finished our classes we tried to make sky crossing. The E.P teacher was very patient with us and he tauch us how use the skies...It was really nice. After that, it was my first time riding a snow motorbike.The speed wasn´t as fantastic as the snow in your face.

11th day:

Sport day at school.We enjoyed a fantastic day. The day was divided into three moments: climbing, fitness center and swimming pool. Pupils could do a lot of different activities and we did activities with them (not me....But my partners María and Alberto did it)

12th day:

We started attending different classes and we finished the day having a meeting with all the Slovenian teaching staff. In this meeting we spoke about aspects of education and we prepared some typical Spanish food.It was our farewell with all the teachers together.

13th day:

Farewell. We said goodbye to partners and pupils. They prepared a song festival and they sang very, very well.It was a very emotional moment. We started return...First, we took a train to Graz....But it wasn´t so easy....It was snowing all the time and in the last moment, in the railway station they changed the train by a bus....The explanation were confused but finally we cuold take the correct bus and train to Graz thanks to a young man that traveled in the same way to us.

14th day:

Very early in the morning, we left our hotel in Graz and we went to the railway station to take a train toward the airport. We took a wrong train but fortunately we found a girl who told us that this train was wrong...Maybe we could travel along Austria.....In only five minutes we were in the correct train to the airport. After this, we took two planes and we arrived home.....

 

It has been a wonderful experience taking into account partners and places.......
