DAN 2 (30. TRAVNJA 2019.)
Drugi dan sam s učiteljicom Elisabete Tavares . Boravila u jednoj od područnih škola, u Posto Santo.
Učenici drugog razreda prezentirali su mi svoje igre i hobije te pravila strateške tradicionalne igre Mauralhinha.
TRADICIONALNA IGRA
Učenicima sam uz prezentaciju pričala o Hrvatskoj, glavnom gradu Zagrebu u kojem živim i radim, zanimljivim činjenicama te smo odigrali igru koju najviše vole moji učenici te dobi Crna kraljica 1,2,3. Učenici su taj dan nosili papirnate kravate koje su izradili i obojali sa svojom učiteljicom.
U četvrtom razredu su mi učenici prezentirali važne znamenitosti njihovog otoka, a ja sam učenica predstavila znamenitosti Zagreba i nekoliko poznatih turističkih odredišta u Hrvatskoj. Zatim smo razgovarali o flori i fauni te hrvatskim zaštićenim životinjama. Usporedili smo biljni i životinjski svijet njihova otoka i Hrvatske.
Učenici su dobili listić s zadacima.Trebali su u učionici pronaći odgovore na određena pitanja o Hrvatskoj.
Posljednja 2 održana sata tog dana bila su i najinteraktivnija. S kolegicom Elisabete Tavares sam održala kooperativno podučavanje. U radu nam se pridružila i učiteljica tog razreda te asistentica koja pomaže u radu jednom od učenika. Na samm početku učenici su me dočekali s pjesmom o vremenskim prilikama koju su popratili pokretom. Ispričala sam im o položaju Hrvatske, vremenskim uvjetima i na prezentaciji pokazala kako grad Zagreb izgleda kroz svako godišnje doba. Slušali smo pjesmicu koju moji učenici vole kada razgovaramo o vremenskim prilikama i godišnjim dobima uz kratki slušni zadatak[S1] . Učiteljica Elisabete je razgovarala s učenicima o odjeći u određenim godišnjim dobima, a onda smo imali kratku aktivnost uz Weather and season dice.
Kako na otoku s početkom svibnja počinje društveno tradicionalno događanje trčanje s bikovima na koje su veoma ponosni te se do kraja ljeta odvija u gotovo svakom selu, učenici su mi pojasnili kakvu odjeću nosi vlasnik bika te koje značenje imaju našivene oznake na košuljama.
Pokazala sam im kako izgleda Sinjska alka te pojasnila pravila.
Nakon nastave sam u vrlo ugodnom razgovoru s kolegicom usporedila kurikule za engleski jezik u Hrvatskoj i Portugalu te smo razgovarale o izazovima našeg posla.
Poslijepodne je proteklo u razgledavanju Angra de Herismo, a navečer sam provela uz ugodno druženje i večeru s učiteljima engleskog jezika.
DAY 2 (30th April 2019)
I spent the second day with the teacher Elisabeta Tavares in the satellite school in Posto Santo. The second-grade students presented their games and hobbies, as well as the rules of the classic strategy game Mauralhinha.
I talked to the students about Croatia, the capital of Zagreb, where I live and work, about interesting facts. We played the favourite game of my students Black Queen 1,2,3. On that day, the students wore the paper ties they made and painted with their teacher.
In the fourth grade, pupils presented famous sights of their island, and I showed the landmarks of Zagreb and several famous tourist destinations in Croatia. Then we talked about flora and fauna and Croatian protected animals. We have compared the wildlife of their island and Croatia. The students got a worksheet. They had to find answers to specific questions about Croatia around the classroom. The last two lessons that day were the most interactive. With my colleague, Elisabete Tavares, cooperative teaching was held. The class teacher and an assistant who helps in that class were also involved. At the very beginning, the students met me with a TPR song about the weather conditions.
I told them about the geographical position of Croatia, weather conditions and showed in the presentation how the City of Zagreb looks through every season. We listened to the song my students love accompanied with a simple listening task. Teacher Elisabete talked to students about clothes at certain seasons, and then we had a brief activity with Weather and season dice. As a traditional bullfighting event starts in May, which Terceira's inhabitants are very proud of, the students presented the clothing that bull owners are wearing, and what is the meaning of the tags on the shirts.
I have shown them how the Sinjskai Alka looks and I clarified the rules.
After teaching lessons, I compared the English curricula in Croatia and Portugal with my colleague and we discussed the challenges of our work. The afternoon was reserved for the Angra de Heroismo tour, and in the evening I had a pleasant dinner with the English language teachers.
