Day 7

    Ključni pojam današnjeg rada je konflikt: razumijevanje problema, pristupi i stilovi upravljanja konfliktima, posredovanje učenika kao medijatora u školskom okruženju. Metodom “igranja uloga” demonstrirali smo rješavanje konflikta međukulturalne naravi: mlada muslimanska djevojka je agresivno maltretirana u školi, jer nosi hidžab.

    Definirali smo razlike u pristupima između medijacije i pregovaranja.

    U praktičnom dijelu proveli smo aktivnost “Snježne grude”: na papiru opisali smo problemsku situaciju u našoj školi za koju ne znamo rješenje, papir smo zgužvali u “grudu” i “grudali” smo jedni druge. Na “stop” uzeli smo “grudu” koja nas je pogodila i pisano ponudimo rješenje za navedeni problem. Na kraju svatko pronalazi papir sa svojim problemom i razmatra ponuđena rješenja.

     

    Day 7, (October 10, 2018)

     

    The basic of this day was a conflict: understanding the problem, the approaches to conflict, the conflict handling styles and student’s serving as the peer mediators in school environment. With the “role play” method we have demonstrated how to solve a conflict of intercultural nature: in the school, a young Muslim girl is aggressively harassed because

    of her hijab.

    We defined the differences through approaches between mediation and negotiation.

    In practical work we carried out the activity “the snowball”: we described an unsolved problem from our school, wrinkled the paper forming “the snowball” and shooted each other. When somebody said “stop” we took the “the snowball”, which have been hitting us, and wrote a solution to a problem written on the paper. At the end everybody found his/her “snowball” and considered the offered solutions.
