3. dan - Srijeda, 27. ožujak 2019.
Danas sam upoznala ravnateljicu, gospođu Concettu Manola i mnoge druge kolegice i kolege.
Provela sam vrlo ugodan i sadržajima raznolik dan u školi, dočekana sam vrlo srdačno i doživjela lijepu dobrodošlicu u svakom razredu, razgovarala i izmjenjivala iskustva o radu s mnogim kolegicama.
Day 3 - Wednesday, March 27, 2019
Today, I've met the headmaster Mrs. Concetta Manola and many other colleagues.
The students of the 5th grade prepared a real example of a music-art workshop, a combination of art and music culture. A set of benches, papers, pelvics and paint brushes was prepared. The teachers gave the theme - Spring. Music teacher Giovanni Arcuri played different melodies with a springtime ambiance. The students painted spring motives in rhythm with the melodies. When the melody changed, the students moved one place to the right together with their accessories and continued to paint on the already started drawing. It was interesting to see how a joint work of art was created and how it was all harmonious.
Then there was another nice and interesting art workshop, after which we had a joint celebration called "A little taste of Sicily". Professors and some of the parents made typical Sicilian sweets.
The art workshop with all 3rd grade students was a combination of technique - paper (origami flowers) and painting. I met the students, talked with them in Italian, and joined them in their work. They welcomed me with their welcome drawings.
After workshops in 3rd and 5th grade, there was a workshop with biology experiements for 5th grade students. The professor had prepared a experiment showing the process of extracting DNA from a banana.
I spent a very pleasant day at school full of various activities, I was warmly welcomed in each classroom and had talked and exchanged work experiences with many colleagues.
