The history of Bilbao is not understood without the Ria. It is the main economic engine of the town since its foundation, more than 700 years ago. It was once linked to its industrial development and today it gives us a magnificent image of the transformation that has taken place in Bilbao

Elexalde students  travelled on a boat Bilboats through the River of Bilbao.

They saw the different buildings , crossed all the bridges and they compared the changes of this city in the activity they carried out.

They created a mural which was placed in one of the school board with old pictures to compare the situation of Bilbao in the past and how it was transformed 

Students created google maps locating the places they saw on the boat route and the transformation the city had

ASSESSMENT

The students who did the activity presented the google maps to the rest of the class to see the changes of Bilbao.
