How important are love and friendship today? Is there anything more beautiful in human life?
Friendships are part of life and give many people strength and support. They connect and ensure cohesion even in times of crisis. However, the word friendship stands for much more than loyalty, trust or willingness to compromise. For me it means happiness and above all, love.
Love is a word that is often used among us humans. Love can mean affection for a person. Love expresses how close you are to a person or how important they are to you. Maybe you can say that love is just a word floating freely in space, which anyone can use if they want. Everyone may assign to this word exactly that meaning which he considers to be right. So every person has their own definition of love. Only the effects of this love are the same for all of us.
Love makes us courageous and strong. We are more confident and have the feeling to be able to do anything, it makes us feel like we have all the sun in our stomach, but at the same time it makes us blind, naive and vulnerable. It hypnotizes us, puts us into a trance, holds us tight and never lets go of us. But what is certain is that it still makes us happy and changes our mind and behavior.
The beauty of love is it's honest and pure. It is nothing that can be explained and yet the most valuable thing that we can possess and give. Whether in the form of friendship, deeds or words. Whether to family, friends or the homeless man on the street.
Our world is a world in which only appearances are recognized as world standards and culturally grown interpersonal values are pushed into the background. In this world full of people who are only occupied with themselves and have suppressed the important values in life, and in this time in which power and money rule, performance counts, it is love and it is friendship that make life worth living. Because love, happiness and friendship are the only things that get more when you share them.

Hello Emily! Your view on love and friendship in today's world is very interesting. I also think that a life without love and happiness is like a body without a soul, and spreading love turns the world into a better place. Your way of describing love was impressive and touched my heart. I think that love is generally very hard to describe in words and you did it smoothly and your text was full of positive vibes. Friendship and love are usually described as two different paths when in reality they follow the same path.

Everyone is different person and each person sees the world in other way, by the prism of their own character and what have they have experienced. There are above 7,5 billion of various people in the world and we can share with each another, everything what we see is good. And that is friendship in my opinion - learning from others and teaching further by sharing, what we have the best, to make the world better, and when do it, this is love.

Every love is different and sometimes we don't really know what love is. But your article about this feeling is very emotional. I also think that love can make wrong things with us and generate provocative bad behavior. However, this is very strong and usually real feeling so every human should experience it in their own way.

Hello! I really liked your article. Your point view on friendship and love in the society are very interesting.
After reading the article and the comments I think that we are missing one important thing though. We didn’t cover at all the topic of love and friendship towards something other than humans even though the quote being the topic of our conversation leads us to this subject.
Sentence “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye”, as you know leads us the subject of a friendship between a boy and a fox in a book Little Prince. Next example of this situation we can find in a book Harry Potter as his owl – Hedwig sacrifice herself for the main character. I believe that this type of friendship is as important as the one between two people. Animals can be as loyal, loving and affectionate as humans if not even more. There are without a doubt true companions.

Hi, Emily! You have written an interesting article and I agree with you. Love is the most beautiful feeling in the whole world. Everyone wants someone who cares about you, listens to your problems and is with you in good and bad times. For me, love is one of the most important things. I can feel love from my family, boyfriend and my best friends. They give me strength and sense of security. I think when we have someone who gives us their love or friendship we are becoming a better person. I hope that every person in the world someday will find their love:D

While I was reading your article, I was just sitting in front of the computer and just thinking about what love and friendship mean to me. Friendship means more than love for me, because friends are always by our side and help when they can, so we can always count on them. On the other hand, love is the most beautiful feeling that a person can feel, but it's like when I write something on ice. When hotter weather comes, the ice dissolves, and seems like I didn’t write anything on it. But so many people think so, that love is more important than friendship, because it's a stronger bond, and love lasts till the end. All the people on the street have their peculiar opinion in this question, so we can't know who is right. Can anyone be right?

Hi Emily! I read your article and I think that it is very interesting and cute. I love your idea about love and the part where you said that “it makes us feel like we have all the sun in our stomach”. It really made me smile. I think that love and friendship are the most important and most valuable things in life. Luckily, I have so many people who I love and I can’t imagine my world without them and I hope that they feel the same way about me. I really liked the quote you put in your article, but my all the time favourite is: "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."– Winnie the Pooh. My point of view on this topic is that love comes in many ways and forms and we have to try to accept all of them to enjoy life.

In my opinion love and friendship are still some of the most important "things" in the world. And I hope this won't change in the future. Everyone needs somebody he or she can tell everything, someone you can trust, whether it's a partner or the best friend, the main thing is someone with whom one can share problems or beautiful things.

I keep asking, what I think about love and friendship and in my opinion they are the most important things for developing and arising your self-confidence. Thus you can be aware of so many beautiful things in everyday life, which you wouldn't realise, if you were ignorant. If you are able to count on someone you can trust, you will be in a good mood and will be open for new experiences. I really appreciate having nice friends.

I thought a lot about this topic. Your article about love and friendship is very interesting and also very similar to mine. I don't think that you can describe love or friendship in words. It is such a complex thing and I believe that it is a different experience for any person. Love and friendship are wonderful things because you always are in a good relationship with a person and you know you can trust him or her also in hard times. So I totally agree with your opinion!

Thank you very much for this article. I can totally agree with your views; especially that love and friendship are very close to another.
Most of the people I know see love as something beyond friendship. When people think about love they usually might think of a romantic relationship. But I think it's so much than that. Love is family, love is friends, love is whatever you want it to be. What I want to say is that love exists in every thinkable shapes and forms.
