    7.45 Teachers meet at Hotel lobby, short walk to school

    8.05 – 8.50 Students and teachers at school gym hall: Welcoming, presentations of partner countries school and home cities, Green flag, kahoot.it -game

    9.00 – 10.00 Students at classes with host student: UNESCO world heritage, Suomenlinna

    Teachers: Meeting with Head Master, monetary issues

    10.15 - 11.00 Students at school gym with host students:  presentation of week’s program –introductions, ice-breaking games with Finnish students at school gym, group formation

    11.30 – 13.00 Half of teams : Getting to know the school and History outside with STEM : digital Seppo.io, Winter War at Riihimäki at international groups. Half of teams : Art outside, workshop

    13.00 - 14.30 Like above, teams change places

    18.00 - 20.00 Dinner for teachers.

    8.15 Meeting at Railwaystation: train trip to Helsinki (R-Train 8.26-9.19)

    9.25 - 9.55 Modern Architecture and Technology Combined : Oodi

    10.00 - 11.00 Two groups : National Gallery Ateneum (Stories of Finnish Art, Ruovesi Exihibiton), Modern Art museum Kiasma (Coexistence exhibiton). Tasks to do in groups.

    11.00 - 11.45 Religion outdoors: protestans, Dooms Church, History outdoors: statue of Tsar Alexander II, grouphoto at stairs, 3d picture and added information

    11.45 - 12.30 lunch, Pizzabuffet RAX, Aleksanterinkatu 11

    12.30 - 13.00 Market square, presidential palace

    13.00 - 13.15 Ferry to Suomenlinna

    13.15 - 12.30 UNESCO national heritage sight Suomenlinna,  history outdoors, digital Seppo.io, AR-possibilities, museum, regular and 3D photos taken

    15.40/16.20 - 15.55/16.35 Ferry back to mainland

    Possibility to visit other Cultural sighteseeing (Rock Church till 17.00) Free time. Train back to Riihimäki in groups.

     

    Wednesday 15.1.2020

    8.00 - 9.00 Students at classes according host student schelude

    9.00 – 11.00 All students come to school at last 9.00 clock. Gthering at lobby. Winter sports outside, Riutta or skating at ice hall

    11.00 – 12.00 Lunch at school and break

    12.00 – 17.30 Bus to Hirvijärvi: winter sports, walk at forest and on lake, outdoor skils: making a fire, orienteering, photos taken, art workshop, sauna and swimming (remember your swimming suits!)

    18.00 – 20.00 buffet dinner with all students, hosting families and parents society

    9.00 – 9.30 Bus to Hämeenlinna from School

    9.30 - 10.30 Hämeenlinna : National Reserve Aulanko, 3d pictures,  tasks to do: Added Reality

    10.30 – 11.30 Bus to Idea park

    11.30 – 12.30 lunch

    12.30 - 13.00 bus to Tampere

    13.00 - 13.30 Tuomiokirkko : 3d pictures

    14.00 – 16.00 Art workshops at Moomin museum

    16.00 - 17.30 Bus to Riihimäki

     

    Friday 17.1.2020

    8.05 – 11.50 Students gathers at school lobby, presentations: students class plans, evalutions, short presentations about week, gathering the photos and material for booklet about outdoor activities, Riihimäki specialities: VEX IQ robotics

    11.50 – 12.20 lunch

    12.20 - 14.00 Computer class: Questionairies, certificates, farewell!

     

    The implementation of project activities using technology-assisted outdoor learning methodology in Finland resulted in adapted curricula with the application of outdoor learning methodology. The methodology was successfully applied, the lesson plans were included in the project manual, uploaded to eTwinning and are ready for further implementation through the school curricula of the partner countries.
