    Short description (impact on students):

    These two: yoga outside and walking with snowshoes, are just two possible way to have different outdoor lessons.

    Time: 2 hours

    Learning objectives: Objective is to makes student see how many different possibilities there is to enjoy sports, outside and the nature.

     

    Process: With snowshoe walking teacher must find out where snowshoes can be borrowed is school does not have them. Student usually have other equipment needed like ski poles. They must be remembered about suitable clothing for this kind of sports. Then teacher must find out where is good place to walk with snowshoes. It has to be safe area and free to use, no water areas on it. Aim is to enjoy nature and have a good sports.

     

    Yoga outside is easy to organize. You just need grass area where you can go with your students. They can have some blankets with them or just lay down in the ground it is soft enough. Teacher can have music player with him/her to play some relaxing music. Aim is to teach students a one way to relax and enjoy the nature.
