ART LESSON PLANS OUTSIDE

1. A lesson looking at Impressionist artists who used to draw en plein air. So you have landscape drawing and painting in various locations. So if its filled with getting realistic trees grass rocks wood techniques on texture and younger kids can do rubbings.

2. A lesson related to landscape. Take your students to outside ask them to drew a seascapes or lake or forest.

3. A lesson about observation skills and perspective. Take yous students to city and give them tasks like they look at details of buildings and interesting doors ; a street view which gets the observational skills sharpened and a greater knowledge on perspective.

4. A lesson about perspective. Take your students to high viewpoint and therefore they can see villages etc from far so focuses on atmospheric perspective which started to be important during the Renaissance times.

5. Photography lessons about composition and getting close up when looking at details or patterns found in architecture.

6. Or a scavenger hunt doing photos, sketches and answering history of art questions.
