    Topic: Activities outdoors: Technology, Geography

42 students from five countries (22 local), 16 teachers (6 local) from six countries physical and 10 students from Finland virtually were present at educational workshops and field trips on the topic of learning in nature with the help of technology (cooperation of international student teams in creating, writing and designing travel blogs in the Sway application via mobile devices at the event and along the way using QR codes, QR readers and orientation applications, Facebook posts of student teams and in raising the project camp "SOFT" in nature according to the instructions shown in the flow chart and algorithm after searching for the necessary tools). During the five project days, the students wrote travel blogs in teams using QR codes that took them to beautiful locations and with which they were given interesting tasks during visits and sightseeing. With the help of a closed Facebook group, dozens of families in six European countries followed the interesting travel posts of their students giving them an extra sense of security regarding their children.

To implement the project activities, the children wrote and edited travel blogs in international teams of seven students (virtual members from Finland were added to the teams) using the Sway application. Teachers  created 40 QR codes with descriptive tasks over five days for each team, opened a project Facebook page and a closed Facebook group for mutual communication between students and teachers. On the first day, students presented their schools, formed into mixed international teams of students and had educational workshops on how to set up and edit a blog and how to use Facebook safely.

The results of their cooperation in the team were written throughout the week in their travel blog and closed Facebook group that we formed for the needs of project activities in Croatia. During the visits to Trakošćan and Varaždin on Monday afternoon, Plitvice Lakes National Park on Tuesday, Zagreb and the Technical Museum "Nikola Tesla" on Wednesday, students had to use QR code reader, mobile devices and orientation applications and had to perform interesting descriptive tasks, search and exploring landmarks like lakes or buildings and editing  travel blogs at the scene. On Thursday, students were educated on writing algorithms and creating flowcharts using applications and were given the task to build a "SOFT" camp in the school yard after an interesting game of searching for the necessary tools to build a camp in our beautiful city of Novi Marof using QR codes and readers, orientation map , mobile devices. They set up camp according to the instructions shown in the flow chart and algorithm which they also had to document in a travel blog and a Facebook closed group. The result of their work was successfully presented by student teams (travel blogs) on Friday. Participans filled out evaluation questionnaires.

Finally, the host school distributed certificates to all 58 participants.

The implementation of project activities using technology-assisted outdoor learning methodology in Croatia resulted in adapted curricula with the application of outdoor learning methodology. The methodology was successfully applied, the lesson plans were included in the project manual, uploaded to eTwinning and are ready for further implementation through the school curricula of the partner countries.
Created lesson plans after project activities in Croatia:
