The Arsakeio of Patra is one of the oldest educational foundations in Greece which celebrates today 119 years of existence (it was founded in 1891) and continues to contribute to Greek education successfully and actively. Today, the Arsakeio of Patra (situated in the area of Platani, Municipality of Ri, Patra) is the most modern school in Greece and the Balkans built according to the requirements of the 21st century reflecting the European modern School architecture. Approximately 100 students attend the Arsakeio Gymnasium of Patras. There are 27 teachers who teach all courses as science, languages, maths, art etc. In afternoons, foreign languages, rhetoric and sport are complete students’ curriculum. Except that programs such as: environmental, cultural, career, and formula 1 work to complement the pupils' education. In the school area there is a separate building that houses the Center of Patras. The center belongs to our school and this is where teachers of the whole region of Western Greece are held at times. The seminars are organized by the school in cooperation with the region of Western Greece and the Secondary School of the Prefecture of Achaia. Examples of workshops are: Bioethics Conference, Digital Skills, Connections to Research Centers, etc. Our experience from similar workshops, combined with our experience of participating in European programs, seminars and conferences, will allow the direct dissemination of the results of this program by organizing educational seminars for schools in our territory. In addition, our school organizes summer schools in collaboration with the University of Patras in the departments: Medicine, Biology, Pharmacy, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Philosophy and Philology. The collaboration with the above departments will help organize workshops with the of the University of Patras. For two continued years our school voted as the best school in West Greece. Next year, inside school, a thematic park will be created with themes for lot of science (and not only) subjects as: Astronomy, Meteorology, Seismology, Biology, Geology, Gardening and Sports. Our great motivation is to fill this park with lot of activities. Lot of activities need lot of ideas. Ideas that only an international project can give as the multicultural cooperation inspires our thoughts. Our main goal is the creation of a park where all schools from our territory can visit. Leader of the project, and conduct person, will be the Headmaster of the school. He is a biologist PhD with great experience in European projects. He will form a project team. The team will be completed with teachers from all subject as a mix of experienced and new stuff. So, in any difficulty, a group of teachers could continue the project. Students involved in the project will be 12-15 years old.
