LOGO CONTEST
Official rules
The purpose of the contest is to design a logo for the Erasmus project “Pollution! Find a STEM solution!”. The logo will be used on all materials and used to promote the project.
Rules for designing logo
The logo should consist of one or several symbols. Students can use any kind of materials, images, typography, photography, drawings, or combination of them.
Students may include the name of the project or just some words involved in the project’s name when designing logo. No other text is allowed.
All submitted designs must be original and should not be based on any pre-existing design.
Voting
Every school will select 2 winning logos. The logos must be uploaded on Twin Space before 30th October 2014.
There will be 10 logos in the LOGO map, two from each school included in the project. 20 students and teachers from each country included in the project will give two votes.
It is not allowed to vote for logo designed in your school. When choosing the logo follow the basic principles:
- Simple and original design which sends an intended message of the project
- Memorable (effective)
- Timeless
- Versatile
- Appropriate
Voting will be possible online from 10th till 14th November 2014. A simple voting tool will be placed and used on Twin Space.
The winning design will be used as official logo of the project from the 15th November onwards.
Acceptance
Participation constitutes full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules.
A6 Logo contest
All schools participants of the project organized logo contest for their students at the beginning of October 2014. Number or the age of students was not relevant. Students used any kind of materials, images, typography, photography, drawings, or combination of them to create the logo for the project. Each school selected 2 winning logos. The logos were uploaded on Twin Space in the LOGO map. Every student and teacher included in the project could choose logo that he/she like the most and vote for it.
It was not allowed to vote for logo designed in your school. Voting was possible online from 26th to 31st October. For that purpose a simple voting tool was placed and used on Twin Space. Results were transparent and analyzed by all coordinators together.
The winning design is used as official logo of the project from the 1st of November onwards.
Outcomes:
- The project logo used on all materials to promote the project
- Students and teachers got familiar with voting tool and Twin Space as it is the first activity using it
