During the mobility to Poland teachers and students took part in a lecture devoted to forest cultivation and degradation. It was held in the Museum of agriculture, forest cultivation and degradation in Gołuchów. The participants had the chance to find out about the reasons and consequences of forest degradation and animal extinction, as well as, saw some of the earliest engineering and computing machines which were used, for example, while creating maps, locating fires or re-planting trees.The lecturer raised students’ awareness on forest degradationand animal extinction. Students could see first tools used in forest cultivation, the first not technology advanced machines used in forests. Moreover, students could exchange their ideas on improving the forest cultivation, they could experience how important is to preserve endangered species by seeing some of them in the local habitat.
