Project Water - writing poems, painting water, learning the cycle

Czech schools organize every year competitions in reciting poems among schools, and we take part in them. Reciting poems is also part of the Czech language curriculum. Pupils write poems in their native language and our bilingual classes write poems also in English. Poems about roses were part of the Rose Story school project and are presented there. Here you can read two poems about water which were created by pupils during the Water project which is presented below in the presentation. Pupils learnt about the importance of clean water for our lives and the life of a water drop in the environment.

POEMS FROM MEDLOV - 2018

Czech pupils wrote poems about their 14-day stay in the mountains in Medlov in winter 2018.

POETRY CONTEST 2018

Romanian students read poems by the great poet Mihai Eminescu and wrote their own poems about winter, animals and their teacher.

They also wrote poems in English
