XVII. ALL SOKOL MEETING 2018

BIG GROUP PERFORMANCES

11 pupils and their teacher Alena Buroňová took part in this event which is organized every sixth year in Prague. We learnt two huge group performances for elementary pupils and were part of the evening and afternoon program at the stadium. This event took one week in July 2018 because we needed to rehearse with all the other participants all over the Czech Republic. The performances for the public at Slavia football stadium were on Thursday night and Friday afternoon. During the week small gymnastics group from Czechia and abroad performed in various places in Prague. The event was opened by a parade through the historical centre on Sunday morning. Our 3 pupils performed in "V peřině" from 0:38 minutes and 8 pupils performed in "Děti to je věc"  from 1:08 (1 hour 8 minute), our teacher was in "Spolu" from 2:02.

Our pupils took part in the parade with 11 000 participants from Czechia and guests from other countries.

8 pupils took part in the night and afternoon performance in the big group formation called "Children" for the age groups 6 to 12. They used balls and mats.

3 pupils took part in the night performance in the big group formation called "In the pillows" for age groups 6 to 12.

Our teacher took part in the night and afternoon performance called "Together".

All performances celebrated the 100 anniversary of the Czech independence from Austria. Here are pictures from some other big group performances, opening and closing ceremonial. The Czech prime minister visited this event.

Pupils performed what they have learned in P. E. during our cultural day in Spring 2018.
