Code Week + Hour of Code

  • CODE WEEK 2019

    Our schools took part in the seventh edition of EU Code Week during 5 - 20 October 2019. Ahead of this, teachers, trainers, and activity organizers got a chance to use new training opportunities and learn resources to reach more schoolchildren in the EU and Western Balkans.

     

    Polish pupils and teachers were awarded these certificates.

      

     

    Romanian pupils and teachers were awarded these certificates.

     

    Czech school took part in Code Week on the 7 and 9 October 2019. Czech pupils from grades 5 and 7 learnt how to write a code in one of the prepared lesson called Frozen and coded with Anna and Elsa. At the end of the lesson, we informed about the Erasmus+ Arts Talk About Us project and also other Twinning projects explaining coding which were prepared for them in our school. Pupils from class 9. A and 9. B joined this activity too.

     

    HOUR OF CODE 2019

    Czech pupils took from grade 5 and 7 took part in the Hour of Code, They wrote code for the Czech carol called Štědrej večer nastal which we already taught our Italian partners and they sang it at their Christmas concert in 2018. We used the microbit.org program. You can find the code here and you can listen to the melody on the simulator.
