UNESCO schools
"UNESCO established the Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet) in 1953 to encourage schools worldwide to educate students on issues related to UNESCO's overarching goal of promoting peace and international understanding. The program now includes about 11 500 educational institutions in over 180 countries."
Oulu University Teacher Training School has been a UNESCO school since 1985. The school has been very active and enthusiastic member of this world wide school net.

VEX IQ was one of the workshops about STEAM subjects which was presented to our partners by the 6th graders and teachers involved. VEX encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership and problem solving among groups. These are also the basic aims in our SDG`s action project.
Experiencing our wintery Finland was totally new experience for meny of the partners. The weather conditions were quite unusual at this time in February. Thinking of the reason.. the climate change?
