Tuesday

We were divided into 2 groups. The first group met in front of Integration Centre in Ostrava, where we watched a film about what the way of migrant is like in Czech Republic. Mrs. Filipczyková had a presentation, in which she explained the whole film and the situation. 

 

The other group met at school and they did Twinspace work and then they practised the song written by the Czech team, because we wanted to sing it to our parents on Wednesday's party. 

Then the groups switched, so the first group went to school and the other group went to the Integration Centre. 

 

 

After a lunch break, we met in front of Council Houses, where we got certificates and presents for our work in this project. We also read the Declaration of Intents.

 

After that, we walked to the "Dolní Vítkovice", which has been an industrial centre in Europe in the past years. Nowadays, many festivals take place in here, there is also a building called "U6", which is a museum of technology and science for public. We also saw a "Bolt Tower", which has been a coke oven and now it's really great café. You can enjoy a wonderful view from that tower. 

Most of us were tired after a long day, so we sat in the café and enjoyed the evening, but some of us played table tennis.
