Day 1

  • Ready to start!

Here we are, ready to start our 3rd mobility meeting at IIS C.E. Gadda. It's 9 o'clock in the morning, it's sunny, but a bit cold.

18 students from the Czeck Republic, Sweden and Spain are coming to school with us. This week is going to be an Erasmus +week. Activities have been organized for us: team building activities just to break the ice this very day; then we are moving to our "study cases", later in the morning.

    Welcome Meeting in "Aula Magna"

It's 9.05 ... we are sitting in our school Aula Magna, we are still sitting according to the country we come from .

Everybody is looking arourd and waiting ... in a short time we'll be speaking introducing ourselves.

The teachers are all here, they smile to incourage us...

Anyway, we are not afraid, just a little imbarassed and shy... it will be over in a short time

After the welcoming speech we are starting.

"I was nervous about meeting all these different people from different countries, but everyone was really nice and calm. The atmosphere was friendly so I was leaving school with smile on my face."

"I think that it is really important to know everyone who is involved in this project, and all the activities that we have done have been really useful."

This day was really beneficial. The best thing about today was, that I met lots of amazing people and now I have new friends which I really like.

    Team building in the Gym

"I think that the best part of the team building was the game called “electric line” because all the people in the team must collaborate."

"I didn't expect a game like this so I was surprised. We all were little bit shy but I think that at the end of the game we got over it because we were in this together. To sum it up, yes I did."

"The activity that I liked the most was the 'electric line' because we had to work all together and we had so much fun."

    Study case - 1

    CASE 1

    NAME: Said

    -Gender: male

    -Country of origin: Morocco

    -Age:14

-Familiar Situation: Poor, a Family of 5 children + parents, they live in a very small house.
Only the father works but he doesn’t make enough money.

    -Additional data:
    - One of the children leaves school to look for a job in his country of origin but he doesn’t find any
(no experience, no skills, no qualifications)
    - Decides to travel (illegally) to Spain/Sweden/Italy/Czech Rep. at any cost. His expectations are not real!!
he doesn’t have a working age, he may not fit into the education system (doesn’t speak the language)
and therefore has no way out.

I didn't expect that diferences between our countries considering the solutions would be so big. It was interesting, I realised that even if we all are in the EU we can find many different things in our policy

    Music team

    Monday, 21st rehearsal day...

We have to give the final touch to our songs and their music. it's time to practise too ... to combine di different voices to tune up!!!

We are working together, cooperanting sharing and learning new things... competencies. We have never met relly before, just on the Net, but the magic of music is definitely working

The following video is the video tutorial created by the Italian team to help out the other members to come up with ideas.
