We focus and analyse 3T

  • We are  students from 3T, a scientific course class at our school.

We are involved in the project Erasmus+ YES Youth Empowering Society Targeting Social Inclusion as data analysts and experts in the field: we share, compare the information we receive and try to identified trends.

We check and analyse data from the questionnaires within the project; a lot of questionnaires are issued within the project and we evaluate the results of some of them.

Our first  work was after the 1st Mobility in Spain: the satisfation survey.

Here you can find the results and our interpretations.

Our second work was the analysis of the introductory questionnaire of the project

Data Analysis of the introductory questionnaire of the Erasmus+ project YES Youth Empowering Society Targeting social Inclusion

The data analysis has been carried out by the students of 3^T Scientific Course IIS C. E. Gadda Paderno Dugnano Italy guided by their teacher

    Fiorenzo Pozzoni.

In order to prevent the different number of interviewed students per country having any influence on the analysis; the data are represented by a global percentage.  The students interviewed were 12 Swedish students, 51 Italian students, 17 Czech students and 24 Spanish students.

Moreover, to make the data easier to read, just the 5/6 more frequent answers have been considered

What goals do you want to achieve in terms of the project?

This question is quite similar to the second one. Therefore, we have similar results: about 35% of the interviewed students expect to meet and learn about new people and countries, while 17% think to improve their English and their knowledge in general.

What do you expect from the project?

About 30% of the interviewed students answered that they expect to meet new people and make new friends; about 20% expect to meet new people, learn about new people and countries and to improve their English

Why did you decide to participate?

Here, the most frequent answer (27%) is related to “meeting new people and cultures”. Instead, 15% prefer to give answers that are more generic: “in order to learn new things” and “because it seems interesting”.

What are the skills that would help you with working on this project?

Almost 40% of the students consider a good communicative skill the most important skill in this project; instead, 20% think they could acquire historical or social science competences

What do you expect to be the outcomes of this project?

The most frequent answer is the possibility of a cultural cooperation then an increase in their knowledge. Just 13% of the students expect to learn something more about people migrations and emigrations.

This project is concerned with the term "social inclusion". What does this term mean? What do you associate it with?

30% of the interviewed associate this concept of social inclusion with the words inclusion and acceptance; 20% with the word equality. Just 7% of the students associate the word social inclusion with a change in the society.

Have you got any experience with working on a project?

Here the fact of belonging to different nationality plays an important role. Almost 90% of the Czech and Italian students declare to have never had an experience of project. While the Spanish students, beyond 75%, have already worked in this way. There is a more balanced situation for the Swedish students even though the negative answers are the majority.
