OBJECTIVE
Share views and experiences on the use of ICTs.
TIME EXPECTED
15 - 20 minutes.
DEVELOPMENT
Large group dynamic, in which the teacher expresses different postulates on the use of ICT. The students, depending on their position in favour or against each postulate, are divided into two groups: a group in favour and a group against. From each group, the students must justify or reason their position, trying to convince their colleagues in the opposing group, so that they can switch from one group to the other at any time. The teacher will decide whether to work with all the postulates, or only with some of them. He/she can also propose different ones. For each of the postulates, students will have the option to decide whether they are for or against.
POSTULATES ON THE USE OF ICT
- Mobile phones should not be used in educational institutions.
- People feel freer on the Internet.
- To keep up to date, I have to go online every day.
- I relate better to others thanks to new technologies.
- The digital age is going to end personal relationships.
- I control the time I spend being connected.
- Because I am connected, I stop doing things I like to do.
- In school, we cannot learn without technology.
