As part of the Erasmus+ project I.D.E.A. Together we can!, a virtual mobility for teachers took place on 18 th , 19 th and 24 th May 2021.
Teachers from Poland, Slovenia, Italy, Turkey and Croatia participated in the mobility. The organizer and host school of the virtual mobility was the Primary Schoo  Ljudevita Pivka from Ptuj.
In the course of the activities we learned a great deal about the Slovenian system of education with the emphasis on the children with developmental difficulties.
The Primary School Ljudevita Pivka has a mobile team of special education experts who ensure the educational support for children with developmental difficulties integrated in regular schools on a daily basis.

After we saw a  presentation of the mobile team and their work, Mrs Katjuša Koprivnikar introduced us to the IRIS Centre from Ljubljana which specializes in the education of blind andvisu ally impaired persons.
On the second day we learned about the Slovenian institutions which focus exclusively on the education of children with developmental difficulties: Centre for Training of the Physically Handicapped Young People Kamnik, CIRIUS Centre from Vipava, Hearing and Speech Centre Maribor, and Centre for Vocational Education in Ptuj.
On the final day of the virtual mobility the staff of the host school gave us a demonstration of themetho ds they use in their work: the Halliwick concept of swimming and rehabilitation in water, activities with therapy dogs, and therapy riding.
