Gimp is GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. We have chosen it in our set of software tools for our project because GIMP it allows to treat (change, modify, improve, ...) each form of digital pictures. This can be used in different subjects to illustrate objects and situations from real life as well in art in a creative way. We aim at showing this by tutorials and students' results to various topics.
