Plastic Meal in LSE

    In the period between November 2018 and January 2019 our students were involved in cooking some Pasta Bolognese according to a recipe which was the same for all the countries.

    In small groups of 2-5, the students went to the supermarket to buy the ingredients. At home they cooked and ate the dishes and after the meal they had to prove with pictures and videos how much plastic waste they produced.

    The students realized how much plastic is produced when preparing only one single dish and were stimulated to think about ways to reduce plastic packaging when buying food.
