Hugo Kołłątaj High School in Krotoszyn takes part in ERASMUS Project “LIFE IN PLASTIC - IS IT FANTASTIC?”

Our first task was to observe the increasing amount of rubbish in the school rubbish containers over a period of two weeks.We were taking photos of rubbish inside them every two or three days and soon we observed a lot of crushed glass, foil bags and paper on the bottom. In the next few days it a lot more trash appeared: foil bags with leftovers inside, plastic bags or joghurt pots. On that day the bin was filled 10 cm heigh and the amount of refuse increased daily. By the end of the second week the dumpster was crammed.
This experience confirmed us in the conviction that every day people waste too much materials which can be employed in some other way or used more times.
