    Welcome Erasmus + Participants,

this site shows you our school in Germany: "Martin-Butzer-Gymnasium" (MBG) in Dierdorf. The responsible body of the school is the Protestant Church and we classify as a Private School.

Martin-Butzer-Gymnasium currently houses approximately 1200 pupils, 80 teachers and several staff members, such as janitors, kitchen staff and more.

Here you can see a picture of MBG from above, on which all the different buildings  are highlighted:

    • Parkplätze = Parking lots
    • A/B/C/D-Trakt = Our various (subject-specific) classrooms and administrative rooms are located here
    • Kleine Turnhalle = Gym with own fitness center ("Gymi Gym")
    • GRT = Our big gym
    • Pavillons = Small building with extra classrooms
    • Mensa = Cafeteria for pupils
    • Bistro = Cafeteria/"lounge"room for the 11th-13th grade
    • SV-Büro = Office for the student represantants
    • Mehrzweckraum= Meeting room
    • E-Trakt = Science subject building (biology, chemisty, physics)

As you see, our school is pretty big and can be a little bit confusing for vistors or new pupils

Martin-Butzer Gymnasium is one of 20 "Europa Schulen" in Rhineland-Palatinate. That means that we emphasise European values and take part in programs such as the Erasmus+ Program.

Here is a link to our homepage ( Homepage of MBG Dierdorf ) and to the section reporting about "Life in Plastic".

We hope you all have fun during our project! See you soon here in Germany!
