Kanal Rundfart
On Monday we went on a sightseeing trip on a boat in Copenhagen. We saw interesting things like:
“The Black Diamond” which was built in 1999. It was Schmidt Hammer Lassen that built the building.
“Amalienborg” is a castle in Frederiksstraden, it was built in 17thAugust 1768, and the arkitekt is Nicolai Eigtved, and the Queen lives there.
“The Little Mermaid” was built in 1913 by Edvard Eriksen. It is a welcome to tourists that come to Denmark.
“The Opera House” in Copenhagen was built by Henning Larsen in 2001 and opened in January 2005.
The “Green Kayak” is a voluntary project and they take all the trash out of the channel.
“Nyhavn” Copenhagen has a lot of colorful buildings like “Nyhavn” it is a City tourist visit a lot. Some of the houses are over 300 years old.
We saw many other beautiful buildings like: Holmens Kirke, Gammel Strand, Nationalbanken, Christiansborg, Børsen, Marmorkirken and Chistianshavn ´channel.
Our personal opinion is that there are many beautiful places with colorful buildings you can see in Denmark. We had a great experience with our International guests in the boat, on the channel and it was very interesting for everyone.
