Before Christmas HKHS students traditionally meet to share a meal with their classmates and form teacher, sing carols and watch a nativity performance prepared by a group of students led by one of RE teachers. This year another leitmotif  was added to our tradition - observing the materials we use to prepare the meal. It turned out we used plastic and paper tableware as well as kitchen pots and ceramic mugs we brought from home. When we were cleaning the classrooms after the meal we were asked to sort the rubbish as best we could and place all plastic in a yellow bag we received a few days earlier.
