4.3.3 Learning activity in the Czech Republic - Slovak experience

  • The third project meeting of pupils and teachers within the WATER project took place this time in the Czech elementary school in the town of Přimda. Approximately 40 pupils and 10 teachers from three countries participated in the learning activities. By learning about the landscape - its natural, geographical, cultural and historical attractions - pupils learned a lot of new knowledge through informal experiential learning. Prepared activities were really varied: through teambuilding activities, sports competitions, treasure hunting, actionbound, making posters and country models, producing water mills and shells, to gold panning, visiting a protected nature site, spa resorts, Zoo, Boheminium Park and Techmania in Pilsen and common evenings by the fire with music and dance. The big plus was that the pupils lived together in a former school in nature, so they spent all their time together. Each student received a certificate of the project participant for his / her efforts, active approach to tasks and creative work. Finally, the teachers planted a tree of friendship together in front of the school building. And although the WATER project is slowly coming to an end, we firmly believe that the continuation of this project will be the new CABEL project designed by the Czech school. So keep your fingers crossed for our friendships to deepen, our experiences, experiences keep deep inour memory and language skills improve.

In addition to the second level students, 5 pupils of the fourth year participated in the meeting and cooperated with their peers within the project Friendship without Borders. They could watch the work of their older classmates' project activities and try out many of the activities. After a year or two, they will also have the opportunity to participate in Erasmus + as project participants.
