SPAIN

  • On the third day of the virtual mobility in which we are immersed, the students from 6th grade of Primary Education have participated in a workshop on Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty and part of the pantheon of Greek gods.

In order to know a little bit more about this, the students created an infographic which included some pictures of the Olympian gods. They have learnt a lot, as they had to research what their role was within Greek mythology.

In addition, our friends from Cyprus had prepared an interesting PowerPoint presentation with information about Aphrodite, which the students watched carefully to be able to do a series of activities that put their research skills to the test.
They were really interested in the myth of Eris and the Apple of Discord, that can be related to the Troyan War. The investigation let them know Paris, Helen and Achilles. And they also had to spot the cities of Troy and Sparta on the map.

This workshop has been a fascinating journey through Greek mythology and history and the Spanish students have had a wonderful time discovering new things and amazing stories. Thank you, Cyprus! :)
