Exploring the Mediterranean diet and the traditional food of Cyprus

  • During this Erasmus + experience students had the opportunity to explore the Mediterranean diet and to research more about the Cypriot traditional food.

    They make some power point presentations and they helped their mothers preparing some dishes. Students had great fun presenting their work and feeling that they know now how to cook.

     

    Students studied the different herbs and realised their importance to our daily eating and drinking habits.

     

      Students had the opportunity to plant some trees and herbs in cooperation with the municipality of Palodia and the mayor. We have helped with the renovation of three different parks. In addition, the mayor of Palodia has also been present helping out and speaking to the students about the history behind each park.
