Eventhough we did not have the opportunity to go and visit some of the churches at Troodos region which are under the protection of UNESCO we have decided to visit them virtually.

By watching  videos and researching we came up with a lot of information about all of the churches. We studied the architecture, the murals and the history behind each church.

We have also experienced the times of the Byzantine Empire as well as an overview of Byzantine and post-Byzantine painting in Cyprus.

Students made several power point presentations through which they have enriched their knowledge.
