Research on thehistory of the city (Lugo), going back to Roman times and to Lucus Augusti

  • The Spanish students from 4th grade of Secondary Education carried out an interesting research on the City of Lugo, back in Roman times. They worked in teams in order to acquire a deeper knowledge about the way the Roman settlement influenced the development of the city and how the Roman legacy is still present nowadays.

It should be noted that one of the most significant landmarks in the city of Lugo is its Roman wall, which is considered World Heritage by UNESCO and the best preserved Roman wall in the world.
