The Structure of the School Year 2016-2017 in Romania

The structure of the school year 2016-2017 has 35 weeks of classes, summing 169 working days. For the final grades of the high school education, the school year has 32 weeks of classes and ends on 26 May 2017. For the 8th grade, the school year has 34 weeks of classes and ends on 9 June 2017. For the special education, the 9th and the 11th grades of the technological profile, the duration of classes is 37 weeks, summing 179 working days. The stages of practical training for which they have opted comprise 720 hours which runs in the period proposed by the organizing educational institution and approved by the school inspectorate, according to the structure of the school year, obeying the school holidays. In the free days prescribed by law the classes are not organized. The educational units and the school inspectorates mark through specific manifestations the International Day of Education (October 5th), Teacher's Day (June 5th) and Children's Day (June 1st), according the plannings existing at the level of each institution of pre-university education. The National Programme "Otherwise School" is structured on 5 consecutive working days, whose planning is a school decision, in the following intervals: for preschool and primary education November 21st to December 2nd 2016, February 27th to March 31st 2017 or May 15th to June 9th 2017 and for gymnasium, high school, professional and post high school education October 17th to December 2nd 2016, February 27th to March 31st 2017 or May 15th to June 9th 2017. The semestrial evaluation tests are sustained at least 3 weeks before the end of the semester.

Structura anului școlar 2016-2017 în România

Anul școlar 2016-2017 are 35 de săptămâni de cursuri, însumând 169 de zile lucrătoare. Pentru clasele terminale din învățământul liceal, anul școlar are 32 de săptămâni de cursuri și se încheie în data de 26 mai 2017. Pentru clasa a VIII-a, anul școlar are 34 de săptămâni de cursuri și se încheie în data de 9 iunie 2017. Pentru învățământul special, clasele a IX-a și a XI-a, filiera tehnologică, durata cursurilor este de 37 de săptămâni, însumând 179 de zile lucrătoare. Stagiile de pregătire practică pentru care aceștia au optat cuprind 720 de ore care se desfășoară în perioada propusă de unitatea de învășământ organizatoare și aprobată de inspectoratul școlar, conform structurii anului școlar, cu respectarea vacanțelor. În zilele libere prevăzute de lege nu se organizează cursuri. Unitățile de învățământ și inspectoratele școlare marchează prin manifestări specifice Ziua Internațională a Educației (5 octombrie), Ziua Învățătorului (5 iunie) și Ziua Copiilor (1 iunie), conform planificărilor existente la nivelul fiecărei unități de învățământ preuniversitar. Programul național „Școala Altfel" este structurat pe o perioadă de 5 zile consecutive lucrătoare, a căror planificare se află la decizia unității de învățământ, în intervalele următoare: pentru învățământul preșcolar și primar 21 noiembrie - 2 decembrie 2016, 27 februarie - 31 martie 2017 sau 15 mai - 9 iunie 2017 iar pentru învățământul gimnazial, liceal, profesional și postliceal 17 octombrie - 2 decembrie 2016, 27 februarie - 31 martie 2017 sau 15 mai - 9 iunie 2017. Lucrările de evaluare semestrială se susțin cu cel puțin 3 săptămâni înainte de finalul semestrului.

The Academic Year 2016-2017 in Turkey

The academic year 2016-2017 in Turkey has 36 weeks (178 days), divided in 2 semesters: the 1st with 18 weeks (90 days) and the 2nd with 18 weeks (88 days). Monthly distributed, September 2016 has 10 school days, October 2016 has 21, November 2016 has 22, December 2016 has 22, January 2017 has 15, February 2017 has 17, March 2017 has 23, April 2017 has 20, May 2017 has 21 and June 2017 has 7. So, the pupilsț academic year starts on 19 September 2016 and ends on 9 June 2017. Until this date we have Feast of Sacrifice (12-15 September 2016) and Orientation Programme (5 September 2016). On 28-29 October 2016, we celebrate Republic Day. On 9 -15 November 2016, we commemorate Atatürk. Teachers’ Day is celebrated on 24 November 2016. The 1st semester ends on Friday, 20 January 2017. It follows a midterm holiday (23 January - 5 February 2017). The 2nd semester starts on Monday 6 February 2017. On Sunday, 23 April 2017, we celebrate National Sovereignty and Children’s Day and on Monday 1 May we celebrate: Workers’ Day. Youth and Sports Day is celebrated on Friday, 19 May 2017.

Aylar bazında bakıldığında, Eylül 2016'da 10 okul günü, Ekim 2016'da 21 okul günü, Kasım 2016'da 22 okul günü, Aralık 2016'da 22 okul günü, Ocak 2017'de 15 okul günü, Şubat 2017'de 17 okul günü, Mart 2017 23 okul günü, Nisan 2017'de 20 okul günü, Mayıs 2017'de 21 okul günü, Haziran 2017'de 7 okul günü vardır. Ülkemizde, eğitim öğretim yılı 19 Eylül 2016'da başlar ve 9 Haziran 2017'de sona erer. Okullar başlamadan önce, Kurban Bayramı (12-15 Eylül 2016) ve Uyum Haftası (5 Eylül 2016)olacaktır. 28-29 Ekim 2016'da, Cumhuriyet Bayramı’nı kutluyoruz. 09-15 Kasım 2016'da Atatürk'ü anıyoruz. Öğretmenler Günü 24 Kasım 2016'da kutlanmaktadır. Birinci dönem 20 Ocak 2017 Cuma günü sona eriyor. Şubat tatilinin (23 Ocak - 5 Şubat 2017) ardından, 2. dönem, 6 Şubat 2017 Pazartesi günü başlıyor. 23 Nisan 2017 Pazar günü, Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramını kutluyor ve 1 Mayıs Pazartesi günü İşçi Bayramını kutluyoruz.

Calendar for the school year 2016-2017

Classes begin on 5 September 2016 and ending 14 June 2017. For students of final year of high school classes end on 19 May 2017. The first semester runs from 5 September to 23 December 2016. The pupils' winter holiday begins on 27 December 2016 and ends on 16 January 2017. Second semester runs from 16 January to 14 June 2017, and for the high school pupils of the final year is until 19 May 2017. Spring holiday begins April 13 and ends on April 21, 2017. Summer holiday of pupils start on 16 June 2017.

Kalendar za skolsku godinu 2016-2017

Nastava počinje 5. rujna 2016. godine, a završava 14. lipnja 2017. godine. Za učenike završnih razreda srednje škole nastava završava 19. svibnja 2017. godine. Prvo polugodište traje od 5. rujna do 23. prosinca 2016. godine. Zimski odmor učenika počinje 27. prosinca 2016. godine, a završava 16. siječnja 2017. godine. Drugo polugodište traje od 16. siječnja do 14. lipnja 2017. godine, a za učenike završnih razreda srednje škole do 19. svibnja 2017. godine. Proljetni odmor počinje 13. travnja, a završava 21. travnja 2017. godine. Ljetni odmor učenika započinje 16. lipnja 2017. godine.
